Classic is our standard cut and runs true to size, a straight body with a normal shoulder. Relaxed is the same length with more room through the chest and a slightly dropped shoulder. Boxy is wider and about an inch shorter in the body, so it sits at the waistband rather than below it. Every product page says which cut it is.

Measure a tee you already like flat across the chest, from armpit to armpit, double it, and match that to the size guide on the product page. That beats guessing from your usual size in other brands. If you are between two sizes, size down for a closer fit or stay up for the roomier look the photos show.

Yes, one cut for everyone, XS through XXL. There is no separate womens block. Many women order one size down from their usual unisex size for a less oversized look, and XS through S covers most of that.

The cotton is pre shrunk, so the honest answer is barely. Expect under half an inch of length after the first hot wash and tumble dry, and nothing at all if you wash cold and hang it. We have not built extra length into the pattern to compensate, because we do not need to.

240gsm combed ringspun cotton on most of the range, and 260gsm on the two heavyweight styles, Silicon And Caffeine and Signal From The Lab. For reference, a supermarket tee is usually 140 to 160gsm. These hold their shape, do not go see through, and are a genuine jacket replacement in September.

No. We print with water based ink, which soaks into the cotton fibres and dyes them rather than sitting on top as a plastic film. There is no raised panel to crack, the print is soft to the touch from day one, and it fades with the shirt rather than flaking off it.

Cold water, inside out, with similar colours. Tumble dry low or hang it. Skip the bleach and the fabric softener, since softener coats the fibres and dulls the print. If you iron, do it inside out and keep the plate off the print itself.

In the United States, in small batches, by a shop we work with directly. We do not drop ship. Every order is packed and sent from our own stock, which is why a size sometimes sells out before it comes back.

Orders placed before 2pm ET ship the same business day, otherwise the next one. Standard shipping is 3 to 5 business days in transit after that. Shipping is $6 and free on orders over $75.

Not yet. We ship to all 50 states, Washington DC, and APO and FPO addresses. International shipping is something we want to do properly rather than badly, so it is on the list rather than live.

Email us straight away and if it has not been packed we will change the size, fix the address or cancel it. Once a label is on the box we cannot pull it back, but returns are free, so the worst case costs you a few days and no money.

30 days from delivery, unworn and unwashed with the tags on. We email you a free prepaid US return label, and refund to your original payment method within 5 business days of the parcel reaching us. Nothing in the range is final sale.

Yes, one free size exchange per order and we cover the postage both ways. Email us with your order number and the size you want. We hold the new size for you immediately so it cannot sell out while the first one is in the post back to us.

Usually yes. We print in small runs, so popular sizes go before the rest and come back on the next batch, normally within a few weeks. The exception is anything we describe as a limited run, such as Signal From The Lab, which is printed once and not repeated.

Occasionally, for small runs of an existing design. We do not print artwork that is not ours. Write to us with what you have in mind and we will tell you plainly whether it is something we can do.
